As we move into 2023 we are so very excited about all of the learning happening here at Elliott. Children learn better—and faster—when teachers have a clear picture of what students know and how they are growing academically. We will be assessing the growth of your child throughout the month of January using our NWEA tests. Click here for more information. Elliott staff are dedicated to helping all of our students achieve in all areas and we need your help! We can do our best work when your child is at school. Research has proven that there is a high correlation between school attendance and academic performance and success, while absence from school is often the greatest single cause of poor performance and achievement. What can you do? Please model the value of education, including the importance of regular attendance. Make sure that your child comes to school regularly and arrives on time and stays until the end of the day. (If your child has a fever, is vomiting, or has diarrhea please keep them home.)
