Updates on the construction of W-FL BOCES new PTECH facility

WEEK OF MAY 20:

Some students got to visit the new facility and drywall is almost complete. Things are really starting to come together this week, and these students are more than excited!

WEEK OF APRIL 29:

The work to hang drywall continues...

WEEK OF APRIL 15:

All the interior walls have been framed and drywall is ready to be hung! Ductwork is in place, as well.

WEEK OF APRIL 1:

Construction continues at the new PTECH site! Interior walls are being laid out and framed, and dry wall is being hung. Parts of the concrete floor have been repaired, as well. Stay with us to see more as construction continues on this exciting new facility!

WEEK OF MARCH 4:

Check out the progress being made inside the new PTECH facility. Walls have come down so that new walls can be framed and support beams put in place.

WEEK OF JAN. 21:

Construction is beginning on the interior of the building where our new Pathways Technology Early College High School (PTECH) will be housed. The new location is on the FLCC Newark campus, next to the ElderOne entrance.

P-TECH is a public education model focused on college attainment and career readiness. P-TECH schools span grades 9-14 and enable students to earn both a high school diploma and a no-cost, two-year postsecondary degree in a STEM field.
