October News
Please have your student read for at least 20 minutes every day and practice math facts daily for at least 20 minutes. Have them read to you while you are cooking dinner, or read to your pet, or read in the car on the way to their game. If students create their own flash cards they are more likely to remember the facts.
It is nice to go into classrooms and see each student learning and growing. Some questions you can ask at dinner are: What new words did you learn today? What did you learn in science, social studies, reading, writing, and/or math today? What was the hardest thing you had to do today?Tell me about what you read today.
