*Please see the calendar for themed color days for each day of the week! Students can also pay .50 cents to wear a hat to school on Friday. All donations will benefit the Indian Valley Character Counts Coalition!

October 27 - Ghostbusters Day!

*Let's kick off a frightfully fun weekend with Ghostbusters Day! Students can wear a Ghostbusters t-shirt, colors (red, white, black, green), etc. Full costumes and props will not be allowed on October 27, but students are welcome to dress as Ghostbusters on October 31.

October 31- Fall Costume Parade and Socials

*Students are welcome to bring their costumes to school in a bag labeled with their name. Later in the day, students will dress in their costumes for a small parade. After the parade, the students will return to their classrooms for a social. Weather permitting, parents and guests are allowed to report to the playground to watch the parade. More information will follow.

Vernfield HSA Directory Form

The school directory is created by the Home and School Association each year to assist with contact between parents and families for things such as planning play dates between children, birthday parties, etc.

Please fill out the form below by October 20th if you wish to have your family's contact information included in the school directory. As a friendly reminder you will only receive a School Directory if you choose to be listed in the directory.

Your Fundraising Dollars At Work!

The Vernfield Library will be welcoming Daniel Jude Miller on Thursday, October 19th for an Author Visit. He will be bringing a signed poster for each student.

This visit was made possible by the fundraising generosity of the Vernfield community. Thank you to everyone who participates in the Home and School Association fundraisers each year.

As a reminder, our fundraisers this year will fund HSA activities for the 2024/2025 school year. The first fundraiser this year will be Spirit's Skate Party on November 4th, followed by Boosterthon in early 2024.
