Tardy Tables will be implemented beginning Tuesday, January 21. There will be two tardy tables: Rm 106 (upstairs/downstairs-main bldg. & Senior Patio Area (B building/downstairs outside halls).
**We will be offering 3 Tardy Table training opportunities for staff to attend on 1/15 which should only take 15 minutes to go through the Tardy Table procedures/database. It is highly recommended that even if you are not assigned Tardy Table that everyone understands the system.
7:40AM RM 115, A Lunch RM 106, B Lunch RM 106 (1st 15 minutes)
THE DUTY LIST FOR SEMESTER 2 IS ATTACHED TO THIS EMAIL.

Teacher will input the tardy in the system. Then issues the student a tardy pass indicating the consequence. This is the student notification.
The student has 48 hours to serve the consequence (except for ISS which is assigned by the discipline assistant). If a student fails to serve their intervention, a referral will be generated by the discipline assistant with a 1 day ISS consequence.
System will email discipline assistants to notify of consequence:
4-6 Lunch Detention (15 minute)
7-9 Lunch Detention (Full period)
10-13 Referral 1 Day of ISS (parent phone call)
14-16 After School Detention (ATS)
17+ 1 Day of OSS
The discipline assistant will monitor if students served their interventions by having the students sign in (lunch detention, ISS, etc.) and comparing it to the “unexcused tardy daily count” report. Students will serve lunch detentions and ISS in W26.
Please see Angela Smith or Fatima Stark, if you have any questions about the Tardy Table.
The PBS Committee will continue to meet to implement and monitor the tardy/student engagement issue on 1/29, 2/10, 3/5 in RM 115. We encourage you to provide input by attending!
