HOLOCAUST DEVASTATES JEWS ACROSS EUROPE
In what is understood to be a political tactic, Hitler and the Nazi party have undertaken the task of exterminating the Jewish people. This atrocity is just the latest of drastic war-time tactics from the Axis powers (Russia). Not only is this happening horrendous enough on its own, the Germans carry out these killings in a very systematic manner. Jew, political opponents, homosexuals, and many others are rounded up and sent to concentration camps. These camps are not just located in Germany; many are in other countries such as Poland. Once there, prisoners are forced to participate in menial labor, while others are exterminated in gassing chambers. Though the Germans have tried to keep this under wraps, we hope that by writing this article, we are able to expose some of these atrocities to the world. In this reporting, know that while it may be easy to become attracted to the strength of the Nazis, you must stay strong!
This disturbing image shows the malnutrition inherent with concentration camps.
CHAMBERLAIN RESIGNS
In light of his blunders towards Hitler's Germany and his own declining health, Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain announced his resignation. Chamberlain became prime minister in 1937, and showed particular strength in domestic issues in securing better working conditions for industrial laborers in England. However, Chamberlain showed weakness in foreign policy with his softness towards Hitler with the Munich Agreement. Rather than stand up against the advance of the German army, Chamberlain ceded part of Czechoslovakia to the Nazis. With his declines in health and political popularity, Chamberlain chose to resign.

Opinion: Is It Time For America?
Despite the horrible actions of the Germans and their continued financial support of the Allied forces, America has yet to join the war effort. This poses the question: Is it time? Since becoming a world power, the United States have repeatedly tried to establish themselves as policemen of the world, but have yet to flex their muscle in serious conflict without being provoked. America drug their heels entering the Great War, and now seem to be doing the same in this conflict. Enough is enough, and America needs to involve themselves in this effort before the scales are tipped in favor of the Axis.
Britain Stands Strong
Be proud of your country! Though other European strongholds have fallen, Mother England is still standing. At the onset of the war, after invading Poland, Germany conquered Poland, and established their regime. Not long ago, the Nazis advanced on France, and the country was defeated in June. As you read this, German forces have started to advance o the rest of Europe and Northern Africa. However, do not fear, your beloved country will not surrender, and will continue to fight tyranny.

Sports Suspended
In an unpopular move by the British government, sports have been done away with until after the conclusion of the war. Fans of the Bournemouth team were particularly discouraged as their team had recently moved to the top of the Premier League table. Though disliked, the tactic was understood by the British people, as they recognize focusing on the war effort is paramount to their ability to enjoy sports in the future.
