Corron Mission Statement

Corron is a safe, warm and inviting community where all are valued and empowered. We celebrate growth. Clear evidence highlights the impact we have academically, socially and emotionally.

From the Principal

This week brought about a few changes in our remote learning structures based on guidelines from the state. I know this process over the past month has required our teachers, students and parents to be flexible in how they are accessing learning. With the changes this week, the district is hoping to streamline across the buildings and the grade levels. That being said, I know that parents are being asked to do a lot from home, especially at the elementary level. Our staff appreciates all that you are doing to support learning from home. Thank you for all of your time and energy!

Many people in our community have been impacted by the orders mandated by the state due to COVID-19. I know some of you have lost your jobs or are struggling to keep a business afloat while also caring for your family. Our community is here to support families that are impacted by our current situation in any way. If you have been impacted financially, there are resources the district can provide. If your family is struggling with the emotional toll of everything, there are community resources that can help. Please reach out if you need anything. Anything you share will be kept completely confidential. I want nothing more than our students and families to feel safe and cared for during this trying time.

New Registrations

If you are needing to register your child for kindergarten or are new to the community, please email Diane.Eageny@d303.org. Although we are all working remotely we can still gather important information to get that process started and help answer any questions that you may have.

Please pass this information on to newer families in our Corron community.

Elementary Intra-District Transfer

This message is a reminder to elementary school families that the Intra-District transfer window for the 2020-21 school year opens on April 7 at 8:00 a.m. For the 2020-21 school year ALL elementary students have been assigned to their attendance area school by the District. This includes elementary students currently attending a school on an intra-district transfer. An Intra-District Transfer Request must be submitted online no sooner than 8:00 a.m. on April 7, 2020 and no later than 4:00 p.m. on April 20. A link to the request form will be posted on the District 303 web page (district.d303.org) by 8:00 a.m. on April 7.

If you are requesting a transfer for more than one child, a separate request must be submitted for each. Due to fluctuating class sizes at schools and each grade level, siblings are not guaranteed placement. If granted, transportation is the responsibility of the parents.

If you have questions about the process, please call the District office at 331.228.2000.
