Jackie Chirico
Carry On takes place at Watford, a magical school, and Simon Snow is the Chosen One (sounding familiar Harry Potter fans?!). I'm finding it hard to see a ton of original thought in this one, but if you've read it and feel differently, let's talk about it!
I CANNOT have this book in the CMS library. The language is less than lovely and there are suggestive sexual scenes. If you'd like to borrow it for your own reading, I will keep it here in my office until the end of the year at which point I'll send it up to CHS.
Next up on my reading list: Goodbye Stranger by Newbery Medal Winner Rebecca Stead.
