Veteran's Day Program & Flag

On Friday of next week (November 6th), we will be having our annual Veteran's Day program. There are two showtimes: 8:15-9:15 and 9:15-10:15. You are invited to attend and invite your family members who are veterans. The program is always a highlight of our year and the choir works hard to honor our veterans.

Mrs. McCauley sent home information and a form about the Veteran Wall of Fame. If you have a veteran in your family and would like them recognized, you will need to to fill out the form and send in a photo. It will be beautifully displayed to honor your veteran.

3rd grade is responsible for decorating the front hallway showcase for the month of November, so we have decided to support the Veteran's Day program by asking students to decorate a flag at home that will be hung in the display. The flags were sent home this week as well as the instructions. We will need the decorated flags back by nextWednesday, November 4th in order to hang them in the showcase before the program.

Growth Mindset: One Young Mind at a Time

We were excited to find the video below of a young boy who changed his outlook because he learned of a growth mindset at school. We work hard to help students understand they can achieve anything as long as they put the work or effort into it.
