BRADBURY LIBRARY SEPTEMBER SHARE

NEWS SHARED WITH BRADBURY STAFF FROM THE LIBRARY

ACTIVITY THROUGHOUT THE LIBRARY FOR OUR STUDENTS (and you!)

Debbie and Debra have had a flurry of activity, have you seen the dust settling? First, we've been tackling the hundreds of books that were waiting for attention. We've catalogued all of the picture books, most of the fiction books, and are presently working on adding the new language books the library. We also are working on "weeding" various areas of the library and shifting books around. We're creating a new official area for early reader and early chapter books to assist those students transitioning between reading levels so that their "good fit" books are easier to locate.

BORROWING STATS:

We like these numbers so far:

We've been loaning out books left and right AND receiving them back as well! There's loads of shelving that accompanies this process. We're grateful for parent volunteers and student librarians who keep us afloat! In the first five weeks of school we have:

Borrowed books: 5000; Returned books: 3500

Thanks for reading!

We look forward to accommodating your needs. Thank you for supporting our huge projects, sharing your teaching/co-teaching/book pull/team requests, adjusting to Debbie's style and welcoming her, and enjoying the library!
