Stand for Freedom Event
Appalachian Educators will be participating in the ________for Freedom event (formerly known as the Stand for Freedom event) on April 14th and 15th from 9 am to 9 am on Sanford Mall. The International Justice Mission is asking for people to come and do whatever they want to show that they stand in solidarity with those trapped in slavery.
Come out and dance or even play for freedom, for example, frisbee, cornhole, hula hoop, slackline, etc.
We have signed up for the time slot of 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on April 14th. We would love for as many people that can to come at any point during that time to help raise awareness for those in slavery.
Also if you cannot make it during this time slot, but can any other time during the day, then please go!! You are invited to participate all day.
