Dads, uncles, granddads, cousins, big brothers (over age 20), mentors, attended each session. Names were put in a drawing per session giving the dads at least 8 chances to win a door prize. There were several door prizes including : gift cards to Applebee's, Dominoes and other food places, car air fresheners, 10pc car care gift set, socks, throw blankets, men lotion and fragrance sets.

While dads were in class, the kids were supervised in the gym playing several games. The afternoon ended with the Make It and Take It Session. The dads and kids were reunited so they could learn how to play the game at home. The dads and kids were served hot dogs, chips, soda and juice for lunch.

This was an awesome event for South Ward Elementary and the start of something greater for the school and community.
