Davis/Martin Peek at the Week
August 29 - September 2
Dear Parents,
This Monday, August 29th, the balloon release for Paint the Town Red will be happening at OUR school. Students are encouraged to wear red and black to support A-State and the Red Wolves. This event is going to be A LOT of fun for our students and staff. Be on the lookout for pictures!
Our first Scholastic book order will be due Tuesday, September 6th. If our classes collectively submit an order of $300 we will receive 10,000 bonus points, which can be used to order books for our classroom library. With that many points we should be able to order over 100 NEW BOOKS! We have already collected over $100, but we still need your help to get to our goal. Please consider placing an order this month.
Reading logs and MobyMax logs are due this Monday, August 29th. From here on out, students will turn logs in on Monday mornings, as well as receive new logs. See the "homework" section of this newsletter for more information regarding requirements.
