Calling All Careers!

Parkside Elementary will be hosting a Career Day on April 21st from 8-10:30am and we are looking for volunteers to present on various career topics. There are several options for you to participate.

Traditional Career Fair- for grades 3-5: This is an indoor event where you will talk about your career and answer questions. We will have a table set up for you.

Careers on Wheels- for grades Kinder-2: This event introduces careers to our younger students through work vehicles. You will need a vehicle that you use for your career to participate in this event.

If you are interested in volunteering to present your career to our students, please fill out this form.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Julie.Shaw@leanderisd.org

LISD Staff Spotlight!

Is there a #1LISD staff member who you've seen go above and beyond in their role and responsibilities and who highlights the district's 10 Ethical Principles? We would love to feature them across our social media platforms.

Please fill out this form to nominate an outstanding LISD staff member!

Birthday Celebrations

Please be aware that we have several students on campus with food allergies, so non-food items for birthday treats are always preferred. We respectfully request that families provide teachers at least 48-hours notice if you are planning to bring birthday treats to the school for your child. All birthday celebrations will occur at the end of the school day.

Thanks for you support as we strive to keep kids happy and safe while celebrating birthdays at school!
