A brief explanation of Puerto Rico's unique political situation within the USA

The current political status of Puerto Rico is the result of various political activities within both the United States and Puerto Rican governments. Politically, Puerto Rico is an unincorporates territory of the United States which according to the U.S. Supreme Court's Insular Cases is "a territory appurtenant and belonging to the United States, but not a part of the United States.


Puerto Rico's favorite sport

Puerto Rico doesn't really have a favorite sport. They enjoy all types of sports such as Baseball, Basketball, Fishing, Golfing, Hiking, Biking, etc.

The most recognizable and famous animal of Puerto Rico is probably the common coquí, a small endemic frog, and one of the 86 species that constitute Puerto Rico's herpetofauna.

San Juan is the capital and most populous city in Puerto Rico. Its current population is 389,714.
