Macbeth: The Mad Man Exposed?
What lead to the downfall of the Scottish king?
Who's Fault was the Destruction of Macbeth?
The downfall of Macbeth, even though it was set up by many people, was utterly due to his own decisions. After the murder of Duncan, the heir to the throne Malcolm had fled to England to gather up some English forces to take down the terrible Macbeth (strike one for Macbeth). Then, after Macduff went to England to join up with Malcolm and the British, Macbeth goes insane and decides to take out Macduff's "treason" by killing his wife and son (Macbeth, strike two). Then finally, fully believing that the prophecy the three witches had told him meant he could "never be killed by a man born of woman", thinks he is immortal (strike 3 Macbeth). But then Malcolm and Macduff bring Birnam Wood to his castle, and end up killing Macbeth to end his tyrannical rule, just like the witches had foretold with the prophecies.
Could Macbeth have been a spin-off of a Disney classic?
We all know of the classic story from Disney of Cinderella. She had a wicked step mother that made Cinderella do what the step mother said, no matter how ridiculous the task was. The story sounds like Macbeth because in Macbeth he is a fine person until his wife hears about the prophecies from the witches. Lady Macbeth starts turning crazy from the thought of being queen of Scotland, and so she pushes Macbeth to do what she wants; kill King Duncan and have Macbeth take the throne of Scotland. In thought, sounds like Macbeth is a more psychotic version of Cinderella's wicked step mother!

He didn't want to kill Duncan for Macbeth was a loyal Thane and leader under thy king, but after being pushed on and on by his wife Lady Macbeth, Macbeth loses control and murders Duncan in the castle of Dunsinane with Duncan's servants weapons, while the servants that were protecting him had fallen asleep drunk due to alcohol from Lady Macbeth.
"The castle of Macduff I will surprise, Seize upon Fife, give to the edge o' the sword"
While in his castle, King Macbeth receives word from Lennox that Macduff has fled to England to join up with Malcolm and the English forces. Greatly enraged by this news, Macbeth decides to send a murderer to the castle of Fife, Macduff's home, and murder his whole family.
"Your hand, your tongue; look like the innocent flower, But be the serpent under't."
After telling his wife that King Duncan would be coming over to their castle for dinner and to stay the night, Macbeth is told by Lady Macbeth that he needs to look innocent so he may get away with the murder of Duncan so the prophecies can become true of Macbeth obtaining the royal crown. For Macbeth to follow what the witches stated he had to kill Duncan, but he didn't wish to eliminate Duncan because he was a loyal follower. But Lady Macbeth is powered crazed and is all too eager to become queen so she pushes him closer and closer to the edge until Macbeth kills Duncan that night.
"Let every soldier hew him down a bough and bear't before him."
Malcolm, finally returned to Scotland with his army from London, is in the Birnam Wood. Malcolm orders every soldier to cut themselves down some branches to help disguise them from the enemy that they are about to attack. And by doing this, the prophecies become true once again because the witches told Macbeth that the only way he would die would be if Birnam Wood marched upon the castle of Dunsinane, then Macbeth would fall for the one and only time.
