Crown Point Community School Corporation is accepting nominations for the Teacher of the Year, Administrator of the Year, and Employee of the Year who will serve during the 2023-2024 school year. Nominations are open through March 1st.


Crown Point Community School Corporation is thrilled to welcome the future class of 2036! If your child will be five years old before August 1, 2023, and you live in the district boundaries, we invite you to enroll for kindergarten March 14-24.

Join Dr. Terrill for coffee and conversation at the Crown Point Community Library. There is no presentation, just an opportunity to talk about what's happening in the district. Coffee & Convo lasts for approximately an hour.

- At this time, we anticipate announcing new elementary and middle school boundaries to our staff and families in late February/early March.

Save the Date! The CPHS Theatre Department is performing Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella March 10-12 and 18-19. Children are encouraged to wear their favorite prince or princess attire and stay after each show for a meet and greet with the cast. Visit www.cphstheatre.com for tickets and more information.
CPHS will host a 2-day baseball camp for boys in grades K-8th at the CPHS fieldhouse on Friday, February 17th and Friday, February 24th from 6:30-8 pm. Forms are available at this link and will also be located in the high school athletic office. Walk-in sign-ups will be accepted. If you have any questions, contact coach Steve Strayer at sstrayer@cps.k12.in.us.
- Join the Crown Point Community Foundation on March 4th for their annual volunteer fair. More than 50 local nonprofit agencies will be in attendance.
- Support Community Help Network when you dine out at Lou Malnati's on March 1st. Community Help Network leads the Buddy Bags initiative at multiple CP schools and supports many of our students and their families.
- Join the MacArthur PTO at their Awesome 80's/90's Prom! This 21+ event for parents and PTO supporters takes place February 25 at the Lighthouse Restaurant. Tickets can be purchased at the link above.
- The Cedar Lake Boys and Girls Club is hosting an E-Sports League for students in grades 3-8.
- Try your luck at designing a new City of Crown Point logo with elements of St. Patrick’s Day, such as leprechauns, shamrocks, the color green and more! Entries must be hand-drawn and include elements of St. Patrick’s Day. Participants must be 17 and under! Logos are due Tuesday, Feb. 21. Submit entries at the PACE Department Office at Bulldog Park or mail to Bulldog Park, 183 S. West St., Crown Point. Winners will be announced during the March City Council meeting.
