Rachel's Challenge
Rachel’s Challenge is an organization in the United States that works to
reduce violence. It is a non-religious, non-profit, non-political organization, led by Darrell Scott and his wife Sandy. Rachel Scott was the first student killed in the Columbine High School shooting in 1999. Rachel’s Challenge exists to make schools safer, more connected places where bullying and violence are replaced with kindness and respect; and where learning and teaching are awakened to their fullest.
On Wednesday, October 3rd students will have the opportunity to learn more about Rachel's Challenge and how they may have a positive impact on others. There will also be a community event that all family members are encouraged to attend on October 3rd in the high school auditorium at 6:00 pm.
