Good Afternoon Pioneer - we hope everyone has a safe spring break. We wanted to share our testing edition newsletter with our 9th, 10th, and 11th grade families to review the processes for MME testing in April. If you have any questions about testing please contact any of the Pioneer Testing Team members via email. All 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students are automatically signed up to test, there is no need to register. Thank you.

Parent Consent Form for PSAT 10 & SAT+essay

Pioneer Families and Students, state testing is right around the corner. Ann Arbor Public Schools requires students to participate in Spring Testing. Juniors must complete all parts of the Michigan Merit Exam: Sat w/Essay, WorkKeys, and MStep to be eligible for graduation in their senior year.

Student Search Service

By opting into the Student Search Service and completing the optional questionnaire, students are allowing the College Board to share personal information, such as college preferences and plans for the future, with colleges and scholarship organizations.

This will provide students with:

• information about colleges and universities that match the student’s academic interests

• information on financial aid and scholarships, helping deserving students to access the assistance they are eligible to receive

• information about academic majors, courses, and degree options

*The Student Search Service option will need to be completed at home.*

If you are interested in your Junior or Sophomore participating in the student search service this will need to be completed at home, not during School Day testing.

Flexibility is being provided in how students may complete the optional questionnaire. In order to minimize the time needed for the in person pre-administration tasks, students may opt into Student Search Service and complete the online questionnaire (http://studentsearch. outside of school day testing.

PLEASE NOTE: College Board allows a student to send a SAT score report to four colleges of their interest at no charge (usual cost is $12/college). On pre-bubbling day, students will be asked to complete that information. If you wish to take part in this service, discuss this with your child and have him/her come prepared with the name and location (state) of the college.
