The Biosphere is made up of parts of the Earth that contains life~ It goes from the forests to the deepest oceans to the highest mountaintops. The biosphere can overlap some of the other spheres, like the lithosphere, the atmosphere, and the hydrosphere. The biosphere measures approximately 20 kilometers from top to bottom.

Why is the Biosphere important?

The Biosphere is responsible for letting more complex life forms to evolve from the addition of oxygen. The Biosphere contains all life, microbes, plants, and animals.

What lives in the Biosphere?

There are many different species that live in the Biosphere, such as:

Fish

Mammals

Reptillians

Amphibians

Insects

Arthropods

Arachnids

Humans

Marsupials

......and many more!

The Interactions with other Spheres

The Biosphere interacts with the Lithosphere and the Hydrosphere to create life such as fish, birds, invertebrates, and mammals. It also interacts with the Atmosphere and the climate to create rain, to drop water, and to give life to the trees and fish.
