Dear pk parent,
We had a busy week full of activities. We started the month by going to our concert and holiday shop. Kids had a great time shopping around. Students in pk4.1 were practicing really hard for our Mother's Day show. During the show we sang many songs such as: I love my mommy, Bingo (Mommy), Just the you Are, Spanish Poem and I wish you well song/dance. We finished our Mother's Day activity by playing bingo and guess what!!! our winner was Vivian (Emma's mom). We also gave you a beautiful bag gift and a srub made by your kids.
Your attendance that day meant the world to the kids and I appreciate your support and interest in helping them develop their social-emotional skills and relationships through experiences like we had on Wednesday.
On another note, the end of the semester is getting closer!!! Our last week of the year promises to be a fun one since we’ll celebrate learning by having “A day on wheels” and our Holiday Party! Make sure to read the reminders section below or look through your emails for more details on our upcoming events.

December 16th: LAST DAY OF THE SEMESTER- HALF DAY FOR STUDENTS // HOLIDAY PARTY

A Day on Wheels-Rolling Fun on Wednesday Dec 14th
As we wrap up our wheel unit, we want to celebrate it BIG! We are planning a special way to celebrate their learning and accomplishments. We will be having a day on wheels-Rolling fun.
We will be creating a “bring your own wheeled object” track.
We need your support by making sure your child has a wheeled object that day. It would be nice to have them bring in wheeled toys like roller skates, scooters or Heelys, which are allowed on the bus. However, large objects such as: bicycles, tricycles and so forth ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE SCHOOL BUS. Those objects, you will need to bring them to school before 9:15 a.m.
Each child is required to bring in their safety gear such as: helmets or knee pads, to ensure a safe and joyful time .The school is not providing us with wheeled toys as we don’t have enough for each child therefore, bringing your children’s toys will be very much needed for us to have fun.
PLEASE MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS LABELED WITH YOUR CHILD'S NAME.
