News From the Office

Homecoming Celebration

Friday, October 5 is BHS Homecoming Parade and Football Game. Spencer will celebrate by wearing orange and black on Friday.

We'd also like to invite you to attend the parade downtown starting at 6:00 pm. The parade will lead through town and end at the BHS football field. It's sure to be a great night of fun and celebrating our Brighton community. We hope to see you there!

Bus Information

We want to let you know that our fall bus evacuations will be taking place between Oct. 15th-26th. We try to do these during our layover times at buildings to keep things on schedule. Parents may notice that their P.M. routes are slightly delayed but we'll do our best to avoid that.

The Clinic Needs Donations!

The Spencer Clinic is in need of clothing donations! If you have gently used shorts, skirts or leggings in sizes 5/6, we would greatly appreciate it.

Morning Parking Lot Issue

Parents should not park in the staff lot in the morning. We are finding parents parking in this lot before school for the drop off line. We have a large staff at Spencer and limited parking spaces available. Thank you for your cooperation.

Question of the Week

What is the WatchDog Program?

Click Here to find out more.

What I Learned From Last Week's Question

Would you like to be famous and why, was last week's question. I learned that a majority of those that answered, don't want to be famous. Some said yes to a variety of professions including actress, singers, develop cures for diseases, and we have a local celebrity that is an author!

We are working hard to make sure Spencer is famous - famous for making the needs of the students first. Sometimes we hit some bumps in the road, but we are trying to keep the students' needs at the forefront and making sure our youngest learners have a voice. We are early in the year, but off to a great start.
