The dedication for the Provo City Center temple was wonderful, even though Michael and I ended up going to different sessions. I forgot a white handkerchief when I went, but God didn't strike me down, so no harm done, I guess.
And then there was Easter! We split the holiday between Michael's family and ours, but we had so much fun (and way too much candy).
Dad gave me his old typewriter for my slightly early birthday, and I love it so much! I've been writing on it nearly every day, but I still haven't quite stopped expecting a red line to appear under all the words I spell incorrectly. I'll get there.
Jane had to get her blood drawn a couple weeks back, and I was a lot more worried about it than she was. She jumped a little when the needle went in, but she didn't cry. With that blood draw we'll hopefully be able to figure out once and for all if she has a genetic heart disorder that runs in Michael's family.
Lottie got her first tooth! Her pediatrician recommended I start feeding her some solid foods, but I've tried four different foods and she's refused all of them. Hopefully the fact that she hasn't been gaining as much weight as before isn't because I'm not feeding her enough.

We loved the temple dedication! I can't believe that the tabernacle, where Melanie, Cammie & I sang our Spring Chorale Recital, and where we had so many other music and church events, is now a temple.
Highlights of Easter in Payson included the Easter egg hunt (Thanks Mom, Rachel & Amelie!) Dying Easter eggs (thanks Vanessa!), A trip to Bam Bam's with Dad, cleaning the church with Mom, and seeing everyone. Thank you all so much for being a great family and for being so sweet to Quincy. Oh, I also sat next to Shelly Thomas, my former Young Women's leader, at church. She cajoled me into singing with the choir and kept Quincy entertained with items from her purse, including a button she wrapped up in a gum wrapper. At the end of the meeting, she told me how sweet it was to play with the baby of one of her young women, and I felt so loved. Susan Wall came over to say hi and tell me how cute Quincy was. I had one of those parent moments where I wished I could make my child be nice to adults instead of whack Susan's hand away and yell, "leave me alone!" Sheesh.
A friend of Brandon's enlisted his help setting up a new swingset in his backyard, and he and his wife offered us their old one. So we are now the owners of 2 swings. Wahoo!
I have been working 4-5 days a week while my co-worker is in Japan. I am going a little bit crazy always looking for babysitters. I am so glad Brandon works so hard so I only do this for 20 hours a week instead of full-time.
