Tamanend Connections

We Are Together Tamanend!

October 1, 2012

New Online Newsletter

Introducing the new and improved Tamanend Connections newsletter. We will use this newsletter communicate things that were in TMS Update emails. We hope this new format will enhance our communications and continue to support us in being Tamanend Together.

Veteran's Day Assembly Planning

Tamanend will hold its Veteran’s Day Assembly on November 9th. As part of assembly, we are asking for photos of Tamanend students pictured with military personnel to be presented as a video montage. The photos of TMS students can include both current students and alumni. If you have pictures to share, please submit them to Mr. Brian Blair by November 1, 2012 or email him at bblair@cbsd.org.

PA Keystone Exams

Students currently taking an Algebra course will take the PA Keystone Exam in Algebra this year, unless they took the Algebra Keystone two years ago and were proficient. The following is a link with more information about the PA Keystone Exams: http://www.cbsd.org/curriculum/assessment/Pages/PA-Keystone-Exams.aspx.

Thank you!

Now that our Magazine Drive is over, we want to thank everyone involved in making our one and only school-wide fundraiser a great success! Special thanks go to Miss Vitacco, Madame Thompson, our Student Council Officers and the dedicated parents who helped count orders and give out all of the prizes. Thank you so much!
