Rowan County Parks and Recreation
The programs offered through the Therapeutic Recreation Division have an emphasis on socialization, inclusion and development of recreation/leisure skills that carry over to the home and community. Please be advised that you will need to contact their offices AND complete a Rowan County Volunteer Form in order to participate in these opportunities.
Annual Mini-Golf Tournament
Saturday, April 14th, 8:15am
6800 Bringle Ferry Road
Volunteers are needed as sighted guides to assist the participants with navigating the course for play. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. FREE lunch for volunteers & a FUN time! Volunteers will need to be at Dan Nicholas Park at 8:15am on Saturday, April 14. The tournament will conclude around 2pm. To obtain more information or to volunteer please call 704-216-7780. Happy Roots ~ Earth Day Jam

Happy Roots is accepting volunteers for the Earth Day Jam that will be taking place at the Dark Before Dawn Farm. Volunteers will need help with kid's activities including games and crafts. For those interested in volunteering please email Stacey Carter to register.
