Testing Time!

This week, we will have our district assessments for various subjects in our 1st -4th grade classes. These tests allow us to see how the students are progressing based on what they've been taught so far this school year. These tests also help our teachers and specialists plan for the remaining weeks of this semester and for next semester based on student needs.

Please make sure your child gets a good night's sleep and is at school or logged in on time and ready to show what they know! This is a good opportunity for the teachers to really see how much our students have learned!

Reminder: Put Student Names on Jackets

As we get closer to winter and the temperature drops, our students will be wearing their jackets more often. Please remember to write your student's name on the tag or somewhere in the jacket, so it can be returned if found somewhere in the building. Teachers will be reminding students to keep track of them as well.

  • Don't forget to send the chargers if you haven't already.
  • Students must wear a mask daily.
  • Dismissal is at 3:20.
  • Car riders all have a designated number. Please help your student to remember their number. This will make dismissal go faster.

Tardies and Early Release

Our procedures for tardies and early release have changed slightly this year, since we are not allowed to have non-staff members in the buildings without appointments.

Students are tardy if they arrive after 7:55 am. If your child arrives after 7:55 am, they will receive a tardy pass from the front office when they walk in. Parents are no longer permitted to walk them in if they are late. You may walk them to the door, and we will help them get to class from there.

Early Release:

If you need to pick your child up from school early, please call the front office to let them know. 281-983-8355. If you call and let us know when you are close, we can get your child ready for you when you arrive.

We do still need to check your ID before we release any children. When you arrive, please come to the front door with your mask on and your ID ready to show a staff member. After we have verified your ID, we will release your student to you.
