Weekly Knight News
Week of 11-13-17
Taking Risks
Each year I continue to ask you to take risks in the classroom. We are only 25 days away from Christmas Break and half way through the year. Are you pushing yourself as a teacher to try and engage students on a regular basis? Are you simply pulling out the same lesson from the previous week without modifying it?
Continue to be the great teachers that you are and meet our students needs.
New Staff Postings
This Friday all of the openings will be posted for the new building! This is an exciting time and we will be adding many people to our school family. Teachers interested in a position will email me by the Monday after Thanksgiving break.
New Building Tour
It was a lot of fun walking the building with staff on Saturday at the new building. I think the common word I continued to hear was "wow". When walking through the building you get a feeling of how big the building is and how great this will be for our students, staff, and community.
We will look at doing another tour in the spring once the building gets some more finishes completed.
Events this week
This week we have several home basketball games. The students do enjoy when you come to the game and show support for them.
We also have our fall play this Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.
Collaboration
This week's collaboration you will have the opportunity to meet with your department.
