Some thoughts for this Week
Edition #20
Hello Woodsy Owls,
I hope your New Year is starting off terrifically. Tomorrow, January 15th, is a no school day in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. I hope you all enjoy some family time.
Thursday and Friday of this week, January 18 & 19) are minimum days to accommodate Family-Teacher conferences. Make sure you mark you calendars (and maybe put an alarm on your phone if you are like me and prone to forget these things in the rush of a busy week. lol.
We continue to have some challenges at pick-up time. CHP will be making some drop-ins to make sure that we are all practicing our safe driving habits daily. Let's represent SHS and the Woodsy Owls with class and distinction. A huge thank-you to all of the patient and kind drivers that are modeling the Woodsy Owl HOOT. I think the CHP is going to be pleasantly surprised at how smoothly our pick-up goes.
Kindness Week is coming at the end of the month and we have a great many activities that are going to be added in. Look for these in upcoming Posts.
Have a great week, and remember It takes A Village.......

Woodsy Owls Who Give A Hoot!!
Please join me in extending our heartfelt congratulations to these humans who exemplify the qualities that define a true Woodsy Owl. While numerous Woodsy Owls engaged in acts of helpfulness, demonstrated outstanding behavior, took ownership, and practiced truthfulness over the past few days, these few really went the extra mile. Each of these students has a photo displayed in the front office and received two HOOT LOOTs that can be used to purchase fun rewards.
