- Write a postcard to a friend about your trip to the Southeast
-On the front, draw a picture of one of the stops on your tour.

-On the back, write about the stop. Describe what you saw and why it is important in the Southeast.

ART LESSON
This week, we are going to make a dragon eye drawing, focusing on the art elements value and texture.
Value: How light or dark a color is.
Texture: The way something feels when you touch it - smooth, bumpy, and rough are a few examples.
Here’s a list of materials you will need for this project:
A piece of plain white paper.
A regular pencil. If you have a mechanical pencil, this can be used for drawing, but we will need a regular pencil for the shading.
A pencil sharpener.
A cotton ball OR tissue for blending.
Some kind of an eraser.
