Food which chlorine is commonly found in are milk, meats, eggs, and table salt.

Chlorine is commonly mistaken with the chlorine used as cleaner in many pools.


Purpose

Chlorine is used in the human body as a "bulk element". The human body contains 50 mg per a kg of body weight. Chlorine is also part of gastric acid which is used in our stomach to kill bacteria in food we eat.


If you lack chlorine you will have many struggles and severe illness until you regain an adequate amount of chlorine. These illnesses can result in death in a worse case scenario.
