Gearing Up for Camp Campbell
A message from our 4th Grade Families:
As 4th Grade Families, it's our time to take part in our annual school fundraiser for our future 5th Graders for Science Camp at Camp Campbell. The money raised will help offset the increased cost of the transportation of the bus rentals to and from camp next year. It has been a few years since we have been able to host a BBQ on our school grounds, so we know that this event will have a huge turn-out and we need all hands-on deck!
Parents of students in other grade levels have been asking how they can help. If you are interested, non-perishable items are being accepted to support the BBQ.
Non-perishable donations sign up
Thanks for all of your support, Croce Families...We can do this together!!
Talent Show
Summer School
Students are invited to Summer School based on need. Throughout the year, students are assessed using a Universal Screener called easyCBM. Based on the results, students are placed into a No Risk, Some Risk, or High Risk category in the areas of Fluency, Phonics Skills, and Math. The Summer Academies are geared to meet the needs of the students in the High Risk category. Croce teachers will be using this information, in addition to data collected in the classroom to recommend students for Summer School.
Additionally, our students who are still learning English will be invited to the English Language Academy. Invitations are sent based on ELPAC results.
If your child qualified for Summer School, a registration form was emailed to you.
Confirmation of placement will be sent to you from our District Office. The Croce office does not have this information.
Snacks & Water
Hydration Stations are located around campus and students are encouraged to fill their personal water bottles during the day. Water fountains are available for those who forget their refillable bottles.
New Student Registration
Do you have a child who will be five before Sept 1, 2022 or turn five between Sept. 2, 2022-February 2, 2023? Or have friends that do? If so, please go online and register at livermoreschools.org for Transitional Kindergarten or Kindergarten for the 2022/23 School Year.
Students new to Livermore in grades 1-5 should follow the steps outlined on the New Student Enrollment document.
Universal Free Lunch
"Our Child Nutrition Department is excited to share that all students, regardless of family income, can receive a daily school lunch free of charge for all instructional days in the 2021-22 school year! While a free and reduced lunch application does not apply this year, completing the Alternate Income Form can result in students qualifying for additional benefits such as Pandemic EBT, scholarships for placement exams, and discounted internet service."
