Halloween Dance:
The Crestview PTSA will be hosting a Halloween Dance on Friday, October 26. Volunteers are needed for this event. Click on the link below to sign up for a volunteer slot!

$2 per child/$5 per family max
Come in costume and "Trick or Treat" at different stations (games, drawings, photo booth etc)

Box Tops:
Do you have BoxTops sitting at home? Time to send them in! Please send them with your student to their teacher or the office, labeled with name and teacher, no later than October 26th. Each non-expired BoxTop is worth 10 cents. This is an easy way of helping Crestview earn FREE money for books and classroom supplies!

VIKTOR THE VIKING - Wear your VIKINGS GEAR!!!
The program targets three key areas:
- S.T.O.P (Stand up to the bullying, Take appropriate action, Open up to an adult, Protect yourself and others)
- FOUR TYPES OF BULLYING (Verbal Bullying, Physical Bullying, Social Bullying, Cyber Bullying)
- ROLES PEOPLE PLAY IN BULLYING (Person bullying, Person being bullied, People who watch or run away, People who encourage bullying)
DOES YOUR CHILD NEED WINTER GEAR?
If you are in need of help finding some outerwear for your son or daughter, please fill out the attached form and return it to your child’s teacher or to School Social Worker, Dawn Blankenship. Although we cannot guarantee all of the items, we will do our best to find you the items your child needs.
National Bullying Prevention Month
- Every classroom teacher at Crestview is required to teach the 2nd Steps – Social Emotional Learning Curriculum
- Dawn Blankenship, Crestview School Social Worker, has completed Anti-Bullying Lessons in each Crestview Classroom
- 5th Grade Students will research and incorporate anti bullying messages into our daily all school announcements each day during the month of October.
- Viktor the Viking will present "Viktor's Quest to S.T.O.P. Bullying", Monday, October 22
- We will review "Viktor’s Quest" during our all school morning meeting on Friday, October 26.
