Inclement weather procedure
The suggested guideline for extreme weather is that students do not go outside if the temperature is - 25 C or colder. We also keep an eye on the windchill factor as well, especially when wind chill exceeds -20 C. The suggested guideline is at the discretion of school administration and staff as part of their consideration for determining whether recess will be inside or outside.
We recognize the obvious importance of outside recess and extended physical literacy. The health and safety of students is a paramount consideration in the organization of outdoor activities.
**PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD IS DRESSED APPROPRIATELY FOR THE WEATHER**
