Introduction

Cercartetus nauns ( Eastern Pygmy possum ) are mammals like humans that are vertabrates.

Apperance

They are fawn {brown deer colour} or yellowish brown colour with a whitish belly with a 9cm head and a 9cm tail and they weigh 24g .

Diet

They eat pollen, nectar, soft fruit and insects .

What type of animal is it ?

Eastern pigmy possums are mammals and herbivores. They are marsupials. (Animal that puts its babies inside its pouch).

Movement

Eastern pygmy possum are nocturnal. They rest during the day in a spherical nest using shredded bark in their nest.

Habitat

They live in wooded habitats such as gum trees or rain forests.
