Weekly Updates/ Reminders:
- Thank you for continuing to make daily attendance phone calls and inputing your notes in the comments section when you take your attendance.
- Summative Evaluations will continue this week.
- Don't forget to sign up for the optional Summer Teacher Summit if you are interested, it is now listed on My Learning Plan, this PD is open to all KCPS core teachers.
- All bulletin boards must be up to date with current student work and current student work should be posted in classrooms at all times.
- If you are going out for outdoor recess you must ensure that you go out during. your planned time only.
- ACTION: Please ensure that you are still posting your daily attendance outside of your classroom door on your attendance frame. This should be a student job within your classroom.

- All district level PD has been cancelled for the remainder of the year and will now be building level PD

- I can statements that align to the MO Learning Standard and are in student friendly language.
- Student task aligned to Missouri Learning Standard
- Small group and guided reading group instruction
- Continue working on incorporating DOK 3 and DOK4 questions into your lessons during guided practice and utilizing exit tickets that incorporate writing, explanation and evidence from the text

Upcoming Dates/ Events:
- Tuesday, April 23--12:00 - 4:00 pm -- KCTR Residents will be visiting the building and observing classrooms
- Tuesday, April 24 -- MAP Testing will begin for SPED students.
Counselor Notes:
- All possible retention paperwork should have been sent home by now and a copy of it should be given to both Mr. Cherry and Ms. Enders
- Pennies for Patients money should be turned into Mr. Cherry by end of day Monday, April 23.
Shout Outs
- Ms. Harnage, Ms. Lee, Ms. Quigley and Ms. Thogmartin for spending endless hours ensuring all of our students get the proper accommodations on MAP testing!
- Ms. Wilson and Ms. Vanlandingham for willing taking on extra 6th grade students each day and working with the sub to make sure our students are still getting the education they deserve!
- Ms. Kirkwood and Ms. Smith for agreeing to be flexible over the next several weeks of MAP testing so that we can use their classrooms as testing labs.
- Ms. Ruklick for her flexibility in letting a teacher candidate teach a lesson to her students.
- Ms. Tag & Ms. Prezant for changing their schedules to stay and be at school with their students when no sub picked up their absence.
