Haunted Haynes Returns This October
Submitted by the Haynes Organization of Parents
Haunted Haynes will take place on Friday, October 18th from 6pm to 8pm at Haynes. Wear your costumes and enjoy Spooky Storytime in the library, JoJo The Magician shows, a fortune teller, face painting and a spooky dance party! Pizza and concessions will be available for purchase at the Creepy Café!
Tickets go on sale September 30th and are $5 per person (children 2 and under are free) and can be purchased at the Haynes Webstore. No Haunted Haynes tickets will be sold at the door. Tickets must be purchased in advance. This event is capped for space and sold out early last year. We anticipate that it will again and suggest you purchase tickets early to ensure you are able to attend. Ticket sales will close on October 17th at 12PM or when the event sells out. Questions concerning ticket sales can go to Karen Walper at kv02132@yahoo.com. Financial assistance is available; please contact Mr. LaBroad for more information.
We need you! Volunteer sign-ups are available through the haynespto.org website!
Due to the family-oriented nature of this event and in keeping with Haynes School guidelines, please leave all swords, and props at home. This is not a drop off event. Questions regarding the Haunted Haynes can be directed to Lisa West at Lisamwest@gmail.com, Sarah Wilmot sjg623@gmail.com and Jaime Budzienski at Jaime.h.budzienski@gmail.com.

Apple Picking Trip Next Month
Submitted by Joanna Steffey, HOP METCO Liaison
There will be a stay and play event happening on October 16th. Students from all four Sudbury elementary schools from Boston and Sudbury will be traveling by bus to Stow for apple-picking and fall fun! In order to facilitate this event, we need parent volunteers as chaperones. Volunteers are needed from 1:20-3:30pm in Stow, must have a current CORI at Haynes, and would be able to bring their own school-aged children if desired. Please email HOP METCO Liaison Joanna Steffey at joannarees@gmail.com with questions or to volunteer. Thank you for considering! Keep an eye out--we will need additional volunteers for events in February and May!
