Happy Fall!
We have many fun, family friendly events coming up! Thank you for all of your support and participation. We have a lot to look forward to!
Family Friday We welcomed over 110 parents/family members during our 1st Family Friday of the school year! Thank you to those who were able to make it. Our students loved the opportunity to read with you! | Ned Assembly Students in 1st-5th grade learned all about Ned and his message to never give up, during an assembly this month. Maybe you purchased a yoyo for your child? The purpose of the yoyo is to remind students to never give up and to learn from their mistakes. | A cow at Clay! In late September we had a dairy cow visit our school! Students in UTK-5th grade learned all about how milk and dairy products are produced. |

Running Club
Students in run/walk club will have their laps tracked using a program called lap tracker. We will celebrate students athletic accomplishments during our school-wide Monday morning assemblies.
Staffing updates
Another staffing change will be with our school counselor, Ms.Frost. She has accepted a promotion in another school district and will be leaving Clay at the end of the week. Ms.Frost has had a huge impact on our school's students, staff and families. She will be incredibly missed. We wish her all the best, but will miss seeing her everyday! We have already begun interviews for a new counselor and hope to find the right candidate soon.
