Effective K-5 Reading Instruction must include explicit, systematic, core classroom instruction including the Five Pillars of Literacy Instruction identified in 2000 by the National Reading Panel:

In the classroom your child will be introduced to an explicit phonics program called IMSE Orton-Gillingham, which is researched based and takes a scientific approach to reading and writing instruction
