Why is Anakin a tragic hero?

In the beginning, Anakin was a loyal Jedi and was training to fight against the Sith and the dark side. He was going to be a powerful and successful Jedi, The Choosen One. His secret wife Padme became pregnant and he kept having dreams that she was going to die during child birth. When Chancellor Palpatine told him the story about Vader and all his power, he thought he could save his wife if he was taught this power. This was besides the fact that Anakin was greedy and wanted more power than the Jedi were willing to teach him. Palpatine convinced him that only this much power could be received through the dark side, thus transforming Anakin to become evil and the new sith leader all because of his greed and deception.
