Softball Tryout Info from the Coach
- We are going to take the activity bus to tryouts on Monday (1/30) and Tuesday (1/31). The girls will need to get changed in the bathrooms downstairs by the cafeteria and wait for the bus to take them over (cleats cannot be worn in the building). Nutter may have to make two trips depending on how many girls are trying out. Coach will be waiting on them as they arrive.
- They will need their softball equipment: cleats, tennis shoes (in case they do things in the parking lot), bat (if they have it), mask, glove, helmet (if they have one), and clothes appropriate to the weather.
- If we have to cancel due to weather or field conditions, we will notify the school by 2:00 at the latest. Hopefully it will be as easy as moving it to the next day. Coach Pickering will be in contact with JC Parks and Rec. to get field conditions to help make the best decision for each day in question.
- ALL LBMS students are invited to come to the PTA sponsored, Winter Wonderland Dance. Middle School dances are sponsored as a fun time for students to socialize rather than as a dating venue. Please encourage your child that dates are not expected or even intended. We invite all to come and have fun in a safe environment.
- There is not a pre-determined dress code for the Winter Wonderland Dance. Students can choose to dress casually or dress up if they choose. School dress code does apply.
- Concessions will be available.
- Ticket sales will take place the week of the dance at lunch. Tickets will be $10
- Students should not have more than 3 unexcused absences and no more than 3 unexcused tardies/early dismissals to attend the dance.
SPING SPORTS TRYOUT DATES!
