Mrs. Angela Anspaugh: SWE 2nd Grade Teacher
Mrs. Angela Anspaugh joined Spartan Nation in 2004 as a fourth grade teacher. Since Mrs. Anspaugh joined Southwestern, she has taught in the second, third, and fourth grades. She also was the mild disabilities teacher for two years. Currently, she is a second grade teacher. Mrs. Anspaugh graduated from Rushville Consolidated High School in 1997. She furthered her education at Ball State University while earning a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Mrs. Anspaugh is proud to be a Spartan everyday because of our tight-knit family community that always works hard in every aspect of the school environment to support our Spartans.
Mrs. Anspaugh's husband is Joe Anspaugh who is the media specialist/librarian at Shelbyville Middle School. He taught 7th grade language arts for close to 15 years before accepting his latest position. They have three children (two boys and a girl), and she is expecting their fourth child (due in June of this year). Many changes have happened over their 13 years of marriage, but she is always proud to share and experience them with her Spartan family! Thank you, Mrs. Anspaugh, for all that you do for our Spartans!
Mr. Noah Stuckey: SWHS Social Studies Teacher
Mr. Noah Stuckey joined Spartan Nation in 2015 as a social studies teacher. Since Mr. Stuckey joined Southwestern, he has been teaching World History, World Geography, Government, Economics, Indiana Studies, and Ethnic Studies. Mr. Stuckey graduated from DeKalb High School in 2003. He furthered his education at Ball State University and earned B.S. in Geography with an emphasis in Mapping. Mr. Stuckey's proudest moment as a Spartan is seeing Spartans go out and be successful after graduation. Thank you, Mr. Stuckey, for all that you do for our Spartans!

Send Us Your Spartan Special Moments!
Our community is extremely proud of the many accomplishments and positive stories involving the students, teachers, staff, and programs at Southwestern Consolidated Schools of Shelby County that we may not always get to hear. If you would like to have your positive story shared with the Spartan Nation, please send the details to Mrs. Lindsay Chase, Curriculum and Communications Director. We would love to share your positive stories that include personal achievements of your child such as serving as a volunteer in a non-profit organization, earning awards or recognition in 4-H, earning badges in Girl Scouts, etc, and etc. You may just see your story in a future edition of "The Spartan Special" or in The Shelbyville News! We want to celebrate our Spartans. You can't hide that Spartan pride!
