The schedule below breaks down when each grade level will be participating. Visitor name tags will come home with your oldest student in Wednesday folders on 3/1. We will be running several art stations all around the school including the cafeteria. Due to limited space and a different lunch schedule, we are not allowing any lunch visitors on this day including those attending Big Art Day. Due to limited art supplies, activities are strictly for Benignus students and these supplies can not be shared or used by younger siblings/guests.

Benignus Hoe Down Information
Howdy Parents,
On Friday, February 24, 2023 our 17th annual Benignus Elementary Hoe Down begins!
We would like to invite any family members who would like to watch their child perform. The schedule below breaks down when each grade level will be participating.
8:15-9:00 2nd Grade
9:05-9:50 EC/Access
9:55-10:40 Kindergarten/Pre-K
10:45-11:30 3rd Grade
11:35-12:20 5th Grade
12:55-1:45 4th Grade
1:45-2:30 1st Grade
This year each grade level will be performing three to four dances and will be participating in
Rodeo games and activities. Please feel free to stay and enjoy these activities with your
children. We are encouraging students to wear Western Wear (no spurs, holsters, or toy guns).

Car Rider- DismissalStarting February 20th, Every car must have a car tag when picking up students. If you do not have a car tag you will be instructed to park your car and check out your child through the front office. Thank you for helping us keep all leopards safe. | Spring Picture Day is Coming Soon Spring Picture day is February 28th. We'd love to see you Sunday, Feb 5th from 2-4 pm for Chalk the Walk - our school-wide service opportunity! We'll be writing messages of kindness on the school sidewalks and you'll have the chance to complete other acts of kindness at our bonus stations. Bringing chalk to share is another great way to complete an act of kindness too. Make sure to log everything you're doing in your Kindness Tracker so it counts toward your class totals. Fundraiser ends Feb 9th, but there's still time to jump in Register here.
