Weekly Knight Notes
Week of 12-14-15
Collaboration
Semester 1 Finals
I'm sure your team leaders have already shared this with you, but here are the dates for finals. Remember, it is not mandatory that you give a final.
December 15th- Related Arts and Science
December 16th- Language Arts
December 17th- Math and Social Studies
Friday Schedule
We will be having students in the auditorium to watch a movie during periods 1, 2, and 3. We will run the missing assignment report that Friday morning and send out to staff. If a student turns missing homework in that week and you don’t have time to grade it- you can simply go into the grade book and take off the missing assignment mark. This will eliminate students turning several assignments in on Thursday evening and getting upset because you don’t grade it on their time schedule.
For students who do not attend the movie they will go through their regular schedule during periods 1,2, and 3. Periods 4 and 5 will be normal. Starting at period 6 we will call teams down to the gym for end of day activities.
We will also be allowing students to sign up to participate in the events. As always, our students love when staff gets involved! So for each activity I will be asking for staff volunteers.

Gold Boys basketball: 7th Grade:
Another great game from the 7th grade gold team last night. Zayden Sibert lead the way with 6 points. Kyler Corbin, Dylan Miller, Zain Straw, Tate Walmsley, and Jared Arnold all chip in 2 points each. Kyler Corbin also had 7 rebounds. Drake Newsome and Alex Neuhaus all helped with an assist and a rebound each. Once again late mistakes cost the 7th grade a chance to win. Next game is Monday against Angola at home.
8th Grade
The 8th grade came out raining threes. Austin Liepe had 2, Hayden Brown, Jordan Jollief, and Trey Ritchie all had 1. Joel Glass tried many times but was unable to get his 2 career three. Leading the way in points were Liepe with 9, Ritchie with 9, Jollief with 5, Brown with 3, Lutter with 4, Arnold with 3, and Glass with 2. The 8th grade came away with a win 35 to 25 in a small court game. Next game is Monday against Angola at home.
Monday; Home vs Angola
Tuesday; Away at Prairie Heights.
