Heart of Hartman
September 5-8
We love our Cool Cats! #hartmanpride
Cool Cat Nation,
Our students were engaged and learning this week! Kindergarten students were busy subitizing, first grade students were retelling, discussing and asking questions about fiction texts, second grade students discussed plot and characters, third grade loved learning about properties of matter and fourth grade students worked hard on narrative writing. Way to go Cool Cats!
Please remember to check in at the Hartman office (bring your drivers license if it is your first time) if you are eating breakfast or lunch with your Cool Cat. All visitors must have a visitor badge if going past the entry way.
I hope you enjoy your long weekend!

Important Information from Nurse Paige! Annual Hearing and Vision Screening begins Tuesday!
Annual vision and hearing screening will begin Monday September 5th and will last several weeks. Texas state law requires all PPCD, Pre-K, 1st, and 3rd graders to be screened. If your student wears glasses, please make sure that he/she has his/her glasses at school each day. Following the screening, I will communicate with parents/guardians if your student’s screening indicates a need for further evaluation by a physician or other health care provider. Please call if you have any questions or concerns.
Jimmy John's Student of the Week....Shayleigh Smith! Congratulations!!
