Read through the course offerings below and choose the sessions that best meet your needs/interest. Then, complete the registration form. (Be sure to register because it serves as your prize drawing ticket!)

How long is each session?
There are two 30-minute sessions during the Learning Cafe. Session One is 3:45-4:15 and Session Two is 4:15-4:45. Each course will be offered during both sessions.

Parent-teacher conferences are a great opportunity to build a working relationship with parents. Being prepared is key to making the most of this short, yet vitally important block of time. In this session, we will work through the key components of a parent-teacher conference, discuss strategies for bringing up tricky topics, and work through some different scenarios that sometimes arise during a conference.

Creative and Useful Ways to Use Google Forms in the Classroom

Besides assessment, Google Forms can be used for procedural tasks, creation, collaboration, and learning. It is a quick and easy way to assess students. Utilizing a few add-ons, you can convert student answers to data!
Incorporating Technology Into Content Areas

Being a Risk Taker

Hey! Have you ever jumped out of a plane? Have you ever bungee jumped? Have you ever jumped off a cliff? If so you are what some would call a risk taker. If not maybe you keep things more close to the cuff. Either way there is something that very special about being able to take risks. I would love for you to join me in a discussion about being a teacher who takes risks. What does it mean for us to teach our students to be risk takers? This 30 minutes bundle of time will be jam packed with discussion and thought. Hopefully you will walk away ready to "jump" off the risk taking cliff with your students. Can't wait to see ya there!
