Student Support Corner

September 2020 - Milltown Public Schools

Welcome Back!

Dear Staff, Students, and Families,

We know that the beginning of this school year is unlike any other but we are confident that all students are well prepared and will be starting strong with the remote instructional model.

The theme of this school year is "From your greatest challenge comes your greatest opportunity". It is more important than ever to continue to connect with people in a positive, respectful way. We also continue our goal to instill a variety in culture that is meant to be cherished and appreciated, instead of judged and feared. We continue to address the national events occurring in relation to diversity and have included resources to help address these topics with your children.

September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. The link depicts different struggles, how to help, and other resources that could be useful; especially during this time period. We have also included a helpful video from Autism Speaks about helping your child wear a mask!

As always, feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns. Be well and stay healthy!
