Johendrix you give everything your best try and you are willing to help other people when they need it. You work diligently in everything you do and you consistently follow the schools 3Rs. Johendrix you are kind to everyone and you always treat others as you want to be treated. Thank you for being a caring class member.
Jayden Mathie Tunohopu 5
Jayden, you are a great role model for our class. You show respect for yourself by always being prepared and giving 100% effort. You work quietly and are always helping others. Well done Jayden, keep up the great work!
Naveen Sakthivel Te Rangiiwaho 2
Naveen consistently demonstrates our school values in and outside the classroom. He always has a positive attitude and gives his best effort in everything he does. Keep up the great work Naveen!
Cole McGillivray Hurunagterangi 3
Cole, we are so impressed with your Courage and Commitment to all things at camp. While some students would have let an injury stop them, you tackled every challenge and encouraged others to achieve their best. You get to know and include others from our whanau and make them feel positive about themselves. Keep being awesome!
Savanah Rapana Te Roro o te Rangi 2
Savanah consistently demonstrates Manaakitanga and takes responsibility for her learning, achieving the highest Pāngarau E-Asttle result in our akomanga. As a Year 7 she shows she has potential to be a great leader for the upcoming year in the Whare, setting a good example for her peers. Koia kei a koe Savanah!
Tamara Mihaka Pathways -Te Roro o te Rangi 3
Tamara has fulfilled her duties as a prefect admirably throughout the year, and continued in that vein this week in a one-off Pathways special at Music Performance, where she put her heart and soul into her music experience,continually immersing herself into playing the different instruments and being on hand to help her classmates. Koia kei a koe, Tamara!
MANAAKITANGA AWARD RECIPIENTS: WEEK 8, Term 4
Anthony Iasona (Pukaki Whanau)
Anthony received his silver award this term but did not receive it at the manaakitanga assembly. Anthony can be very responsible when we play games and is a great referee taking responsibility for his actions in this role by making sure the games are fair and that his classmates are in the right place.
Ava Brady (Tunohopu Whanau)
Ava is an incredibly caring and responsible member of our whanau. She always puts others before herself and is willing to help anyone who needs it. She has an excellent work ethic and is always motivated to take on new opportunities.
Ma’ata Poafa (Te Rangiiwaho Whanau)
Ma’ata, you bring happiness and laughter to our class. You enjoy hands-on activities and you work well with others. You have special relationships with your teachers and this has helped you learn about and show Manaakitanga and demonstrate our school values. Ka mau te wehi!
Chaning Quiroga (Hurungaterangi Whanau)
Your enthusiasm for everything we do is infectious. You have a wonderful zest for life and this spills over with your Hurungaterangi friends and classmates, especially at social dance.You genuinely care for others and always make people feel positive. Thank you so much for all you have done and achieved and being an awesome person.
Maia Walters (Te Roro o Te Rangi Whanau)
Maia you have been an awesome role model in Te Roro o te Rangi whānau. Your positive attitude towards learning has been noticed by your teina in the whare. You have demonstrated excellent manaakitanga skills towards your peers and the kaiako. Ko koe tērā e manaaki ana i te kaupapa me ngā uarā o te kura. Mō te manaaki tangata ko koe ā runga Maia!
Abner Stevens (Taeotu / Pathways )
Abner, it was wonderful having you in Culinary arts! You were always enthusiastic, and gave everything a go which I admire. I love the way you always support your peers with a smile. Abner you are a definite role model for our school where you consistently demonstrate our school values and habits.
Kellie Yorke (Tunohopu Whanau)
Kellie has had a great term 4. Her confidence has grown and she is putting herself out there to try new things. A valid member of Hine kaha.
Alyana Ruhi (Te Roro o Te Rangi Whanau)
Alyana consistently demonstrates Manaakitanga. Alyana supported our tau 8 with their kai on the night and set up for social dance. She is always respectful towards kaiako and her peers. She continuously exceeds the whare expectations and always takes responsibility for her learning. Koia kei a koe Alyana, he rangatira mō āpōpō.
