Exam Exemption Update
In addition to the attendance piece, an academic component has been added to the exam exemption opportunity for students. Students who have earned a grade of 94% or better in that class will have the option to exempt from that exam. Students can exempt from up to two exams in total.

Teen Mental Health First Aid Training (tMHFA) coming to Westwood High School Students
Beginning February 20th, all students in grade 10 will be participating in Teen Mental Health First Aid Training at Westwood High School. A letter went home this past week to all parents and guardians of students in 10th grade with information on the training.
Our partners in delivering the training will be offering an optional information night for caregivers and students on Wednesday, February 15th, from 6:30-7:00pm for parents/guardians and 7:00-7:30 for students. These are optional opportunities for people to learn more or ask questions. Below is a link and attached is a flyer with more information about the information session.

Students in grades 9 and 10 will begin NWEA testing the week of March 6th. Students test in three subject areas; math, science, and reading. This is the second of two NWEA test cycles. Click here for more information on the NWEA test.
