X-Rays
By Ben, Thalia, Avri and Peyton
How do x-rays work?
X-rays are like light just more energetic so they can pass through more. Our bones absorb the x-rays letting us see them.
That is, when a doctor scans your bones, what is happening?
Use a very small amount of radioactive substance to find a defect in your bones. A trained professional injects tracers in your bones then uses a special camera to take a picture of the bones.
