Progress Reports Available Friday, November 19th

Big picture
Happy Fall to all our Manor families! It is time for you and your child to celebrate their initial progress for the first trimester of the 2021-22 school year. Currently, our traditional progress reports are under revision. In the past, you accessed the entire progress report through SchoolTool. However, this year, teachers are sending home paper copies of classroom and support services progress reports, while our special area reports - Art, Music, and Physical Education (PE), continue to be housed on SchoolTool. Please take the rime to review your child's progress, celebrating their strengths and growth, while setting goals for improvement opportunities. Once you have reviewed the report(s), kindly sign and return the yellow form to your child's teacher. Thank you.

To access SchoolTool, go to hflcsd.org, then click SchoolTool in the top right corner of the home page. Your username is the email on file with the HF-L School District. Passwords may be changed by going to the account tab. To view information regarding your child, click the blue wedge to the left of the student name.

Manor School Food Drive and "Can-gineering" Event

Next week at Manor, we begin our annual food drive! Staff, students, and families are encouraged to donate canned or boxed food items to be donated to local community food cupboards. Classes will be creating amazing "structures" from the donated food items. On Tuesday, November 23rd, Manor students and staff will have the opportunity to tour and view the structures throughout the hallways and vote on their favorites! Winners will be announced at an assembly in the afternoon in the following categories: Most Creative, Best Use of Cans, Tallest Vertically, Widest Horizontally, Silliest Design, and Largest Number of Cans Incorporated. Thanks to our 5th grade Make-A-Difference Committee for organizing this great event! Here are some photos from years past:
